About
Andrea Wilson is the visionary founder of the Iowa Writers’ House, an organization that has connected thousands of writers to new opportunities within the Iowa literary community. She developed the Bicultural Iowa Writers’ Fellowship to provide an avenue for our newest citizens to share their stories and to allow audiences the chance to hear them. Her own writing approaches topics of belonging, culture, and tradition. In addition to serving as the executive director of the Iowa Writers’ House and the editor of this collection, she has edited and published This Is Our Peace, an anthology on nuclear nonproliferation, and Girls Making Magic, an anthology of works by aspiring female writers aged ten to fourteen.
