A BOOK IN EVERY LIBRARY IN IOWA
Our libraries are the front lines of our Iowa communities. They are often the community center, the media center, and the meeting place. They are the place where Iowans go to find ways to be better connected to the world, its stories and truths.
We the Interwoven is the first book of stories written by Iowa’s immigrants and bicultural citizens. Its existence as a published book shows immigrant writers as role models. Its stories share truths of the immigrant experience that are relatable for those whose families came to this country and create perspective for those hoping to understand it. This is a book for everyone.
Our dream is to have a copy of We the Interwoven: An Anthology of Bicultural Iowa in every library across Iowa.
MAKING A DREAM A REALITY
